This weekend I had the pleasure of seeing some of my favorite cousins while eating sweedish meatballs and shopping for scandinavian modern style furniture. Amy, Jonathan, and Chelsae all made the trek to Virginia to shop at Ikea, where I joined them. It was so good to see them! This is the closest I've lived to any cousin in a long while.
Besides that, the job is going very well. I'm still in the pretty steep part of the learning curve, but getting there. It's really interesting, and hopefully that will continue.

Thanks for meeting us at the brown-black furniture mecca. It was so fun to spend some quality eating/talking/shopping time with you!
So glad to see you still blogging! I thought maybe you were lost chasing a lost frisbee! Glad you had a good time with some of the cousins. We were in Newton with some of the other Bartels...so it was a good time. It looked like they made quite a haul!! Terry B.
Tine, I am going to be in Alexandria, VA the last week in October for some work training. Is that close to you? We should meet up.
Someday all the Bartels will have our matching hemnes furniture. It was fun to see you! I was a bit distracted with the shopping, but it was good anyhow.
Is the bamboo working in your office?
